Swansea City have splashed out a club-record fee of £15.5m to sign sign striker Borja Baston from Atletico Madrid.
The 23-year-old has penned a four-year deal at the club after successfully passing a medical in South Wales on Thursday morning.
Baston, who has been handed the number 10 shirt at the Liberty Stadium, overtakes Wilfried Bony as the Swans' most expensive signing ever following the Ivorian's £12m move from Vitesse in 2013.
Having come through Atletico's academy ranks, the former Spain Under-19s international has found playing time difficult to come by at the Vicente Calderon and has since spent time on loan with five different teams.
Baston's most recent stint away from Atleti saw him score 18 goals for Eibar last season, helping the club to a 14th-place finish in the Spanish top flight.
Swansea's confirmation of the forward's arrival comes six days after announcing the capture of countryman Fernando Llorente, with the duo expected to link up for City at Burnley on Saturday.
