Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has described his side's El Clasico win against Real Madrid as "a very special night".
The Spanish international scored Barca's third goal in a convincing 3-1 win at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Pep Guardiola's team are now top of the La Liga table on the head-to-head ruling.
"A very special night for the team and for myself," he tweeted. "I will always remember tonight! Thanks to all the fans! Now time to go to Japan!!!!!!!"
The Catalan club will now take a break from league duties to participate in the FIFA World Club Championship in Asia.
