Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has said that the club are always trying to improve and add innovation to their game.
Blaugrana boss Pep Guardiola, who took over from former boss Frank Rijkaard in 2008, has continued to introduce new formations during his time in charge at the Nou Camp despite the club's success.
"The coaches and the players try to add variants to the team's play so we can attack better and score goals, which is the most important thing," he told the club's official website.
"I don't know the extent of our innovation. It's for those who follow football history to decide whether we take football to another level."
Barcelona are currently three points adrift of leaders Real Madrid in La Liga.
