David Villa has declared that he finally feels capable of starting games in quick succession after a lengthy layoff.
The Barcelona striker spent a large part of 2012 on the sidelines with a broken leg and had to slowly work his way back to full fitness during the close season.
Villa told reporters that he is ready when called upon for both club and country to contribute for 90 minutes.
He said: "I feel good, I've been very happy during these months because I realise that I have been lucky.
"I suffered a very serious injury, many would have had to end their careers. I succeeded after many hours of work and am lucky enough to be surrounded by the best.
"I'm ready to play now, and I think everyone is with me in my club and the national team. Now I'm waiting for the decisions of my two coaches."
The 30-year-old made his return to the international fold on Friday with a substitute appearance for Spain in their 4-0 win over Belarus.
