Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has said that the Catalan team's front three are so successful because of their relationship both on and off the field.
It had initially been thought that Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar would struggle to play together in a team, but the trio have beaten scoring records during their time at Camp Nou.
Last season, they scored 122 goals between them as Barcelona won La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.
Pique has claimed that the trio's relationship is "magnificent" and allows the three forwards to exist in the same XI.
"The key to the Trident at Barcelona is the relationship they have between each other. You can see it on the pitch, it's magnificent. There's no ego involved and that's the most important part," Pique told The Telegraph.
Suarez and Neymar have taken on the scoring burden for Barcelona this season in the absence of Messi, who is still on the sidelines with a knee injury.
