Roberto Martinez has confirmed he has not received any contact from Barcelona over the managerial role.
Barca manager Ronald Koeman is close to losing his job at the Camp Nou following the 3-0 defeat to Benfica in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Belgium boss Martinez has been linked with the position, along with coaches such as Xavi, Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte.
However, The Mirror reports that the Spaniard has had no contact from Barca, although he dropped a hint that he could be tempted by an offer.
"There is absolutely nothing - and there has been no contact with Barcelona," Martinez said. "I want to fulfil my contract, but many things may arise along the way."
The 48-year-old's contract with Belgium runs until after the 2022 World Cup, but he appeared open to the idea of leaving if the right opportunity came along.
During his time in charge of the Red Devils, former Everton and Wigan Athletic manager Martinez has led the country to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup and the quarter-finals of this year's European Championships.
