Xavi already looking to next season

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has admitted that the Catalan outfit have failed to "live up to the expectations this season".

The Spanish champions drew 2-2 with Getafe at the Camp Nou earlier this afternoon, with that result all but ending their hopes of retaining the La Liga title this season.

"We feel bad," he told reporters after the game. "We didn't live up to the expectations this season. We have to be self-critical and start all over next season."

Barcelona currently sit second in La Liga, three points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, who have a game in hand.
