La Liga giants Barcelona have been said to reportedly have to pay around £10m if they decided to sack head coach Ronald Koeman.

The Dutchman is subject to rife speculation about his future at Camp Nou, after enduring a turbulent 12 months at the helm.

A recent report has suggested that several members of the Catalan club's hierarchy have asked for the 58-year-old to be sacked, as they do not believe he is the right man to take the club forward.

However, according to the Daily Mirror, it would cost Barcelona around £10m if they relieved Koeman of his duties, a figure they currently cannot afford to spend amid their severe financial crisis.

The former Everton and Southampton manager will see his current contract expire at the end of this season, but as pressure continues to build on the Barca boss, the report suggests that the club may lose their patience in the coming months.

Koeman is believed to have been given three La Liga games to save his job, and a defeat against either Granada, Cadiz or Levante could see his time in Catalonia come to an end.
