Inter Miami want to sign Barcelona forward Luis Suarez for their debut MLS campaign, according to a report.

Inter Miami are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona forward Luis Suarez for their debut MLS campaign.

David Beckham's newly-formed club, who will take part in their first ever MLS season in 2020, have recently been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Beckham is also targeting a swoop for Suarez, who has little under two years left to run on his current deal at Camp Nou.

The 32-year-old has scored 177 times in 248 appearances for Barca in all competitions.

The Uruguay international has struggled with injuries over the last 12 months, however, and he is currently on the sidelines with a calf problem.

Inter Miami are yet to appoint a head coach, although former Manchester United boss David Moyes has been strongly linked with the role at the North American club.
