Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben backs Pep Guardiola's appointment as the club's next head coach.

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has claimed that incoming head coach Pep Guardiola will fit in well at the German club.

It was announced on Wednesday that former Barcelona boss Guardiola would be taking over from Jupp Heynckes at the Allianz Arena in the summer.

"I think it is a very interesting choice and I think at first glance Guardiola may fit well at Bayern," Robben told Algemeen Dagblad.

"He is an adventurous and attacking coach who fits at a club that shows guts."

Guardiola has signed a three-year deal with Bayern.
