Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Wolfsburg vs. Bayern Munich

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Bundesliga fixtures, including Wolfsburg vs. Bayern Munich.

Wolfsburg take on Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the visitors looking to bounce back after a testing week, which saw them drop points at home to Union Berlin and crash out of the Champions League to Paris Saint-Germain.

The hosts, meanwhile, have an eight-point cushion inside the Champions League qualification positions, but are looking to avoid successive defeats after Eintracht Frankfurt overcame them last time out.

We say: Wolfsburg 1-1 Bayern Munich

With Bayern's confidence and energy levels likely to be low after their two-legged defeat to PSG, we expect Wolfsburg to retain their unbeaten record at home in the Bundesliga this season.

The Wolves have had a week to prepare for this game, with Weghorst licking his lips at the prospect of having space to run into behind Bayern's high line.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Freiburg vs. Schalke (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Freiburg take on Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the hosts looking to move back into the top half of the table after suffering back-to-back defeats.

Schalke, meanwhile, won only their second league game of the season with a 1-0 victory against Augsburg last time out, but could still be relegated at the end of the weekend depending on results elsewhere.

We say: Freiburg 1-0 Schalke 04

With Holer and Demirovic back in tandem in attack, we expect Freiburg to edge a tight encounter.

Schalke will take confidence from their second win of the season last weekend, but it is tough to envisage Freiburg falling to a third successive defeat under Streich.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Borussia M'bach vs. Frankfurt (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Borussia Monchengladbach take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the visitors looking to cement their position in the Champions League qualifying places.

Gladbach, meanwhile, are still chasing a Europa League qualifying position as the Marco Rose era comes towards its end, with Frankfurt boss Adi Hutter lined up as his replacement.

We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 1-3 Eintracht Frankfurt

We can envisage a high-scoring match between two sides who possess plenty of attacking firepower, but can lack defensive solidity at times.

The suspensions of Sommer and Kramer could significantly hurt Gladbach, who would have had a hard enough time keeping the likes of Silva, Jovic and Filip Kostic quiet in any case.

Frankfurt's march to displacing Gladbach as a German Champions League representative for next season should continue with another win.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Union Berlin vs. Stuttgart (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Union Berlin will aim to get back on track in the race for a top-six finish in the Bundesliga when they welcome Stuttgart to the Stadion An der Alten Foersterei on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts managed to hold perennial champions Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw last time out, but Stuttgart were not so lucky against Borussia Dortmund, to whom they lost 3-2.

We say: Union Berlin 1-1 Stuttgart

An encounter between to evenly-matched teams with identical formations, lengthy injury lists and ambitions of Europe is the perfect recipe for another stalemate this weekend, and there has been little to separate them in meetings gone by. A moment of magic from Kalajdzic could determine the tie in Stuttgart's favour, but Union do not look like losing at home anytime soon, so we are expecting another share of the spoils this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Augsburg vs. Arminia Bielefeld (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Augsburg take on Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the visitors looking to record back-to-back victories and move outside of the bottom three.

The hosts, meanwhile, enter the match six points ahead of Arminia in the table, so will be looking to win to end any lingering relegation fears.

We say: Augsburg 1-1 Arminia Bielefeld

Recent form suggests Augsburg will win this match given that they are currently on a streak of win, loss, win, loss, win, loss, but we can envisage that ending with a low-scoring draw between two evenly-matched sides.

Arminia look a much more solid proposition under Kramer, with a point potentially taking them out of the bottom three, depending on how Hertha Berlin fare against Mainz 05 in the weekend's big relegation clash.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

B. Leverkusen vs. FC Koln (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Bayer Leverkusen take on FC Koln in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the visitors desperately requiring a positive result with time running out for them to survive relegation.

The hosts, meanwhile, are looking to cement their position in the Europa League qualifying positions in the table.

We say: Bayer Leverkusen 1-1 FC Koln

While Leverkusen are aiming to qualify for Europe, there is clearly more at stake for the visitors, who desperately need to at least avoid defeat.

We can see them doing so, but it is unlikely to be the three points they require to keep within touching distance of their relegation rivals.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
