Bayern Munich agree Arturo Vidal deal

Juventus midfield ace Arturo Vidal will complete a move to Bayern Munich in the coming days, subject to a medical.

Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Juventus to sign midfielder Arturo Vidal.

The Chile international, who has been heavily linked with the Bavarian giants all summer, is thought to be valued at around £28m.

Following much drawn-out speculation, Bayern have announced that a move for the 28-year-old is close to going through.

Vidal will begin training with his new teammates next week, subject to a medical which will take place in the coming days.

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said at a press conference: "The player still has to complete his medical and sign the contract. He should be able to start training with us next week."

Vidal has previously spent four years in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.
