Aston Villa youngster Easah Suliman will reportedly sign a two-and-a-half-year professional contract with the Premier League club this week.
The 16-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in European football, with Bayern Munich said to hold a strong interest.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Villa have beaten off interest from the German champions, who are said to have scouted Suliman in the FA Youth Cup.
It is understood that the teenager will sign a professional deal on Friday ahead of his 17th birthday, which falls next week.
Suliman has been with Villa since he was eight.
