Swansea City and Bayern Munich have reportedly held discussions over the future of midfielder Renato Sanches.
The Portuguese international is currently on a season-long loan deal at the Liberty Stadium, but the prospect has failed to make a positive impact in the Premier League.
While the 20-year-old has played 512 minutes of top-flight football, he has only made one substitute appearance since being hauled off at half time against Chelsea at the end of November.
According to MaisFutebol, the two clubs are considering the possibility of Sanches returning to the Allianz Arena in January, with his immediate future in English football seemingly bleak.
If Sanches does return to Bayern, he would not be able to join another club this season having already represented two teams since August.
