Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that he is not looking to leave Hebei China Fortune, amid suggestions that the former Manchester City boss is wanted at Real Betis.
Gus Poyet is believed to be on the verge of losing his job with Betis and it is understood that the La Liga outfit have identified Pellegrini as their leading target to take control.
The Chilean, however, has vowed to "honour" his contract with Hebei China Fortune, whom he joined at the end of August and led to a seventh-place finish in the Chinese Super League last season.
"I have a contract in China for two years, which I will honour," Pellegrini told Cadena Ser. "I am very happy here and there is no chance of me going to another club, I am a man of my word. I will not talk about the clubs that have contacted me or the club, my contract is in China."
Pellegrini left his position with Man City at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
