Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has hailed the progress of midfielder Steven N'Zonzi after the 3-2 victory over Queens Park Rangers.
N'Zonzi scored one and assisted another goal during the triumph and Kean beleieves that recent training sessions have given the Frenchman a new impetus.
Kean told Sky Sports News: "We think his technique is fantastic, the way he plays a cross-field pass and the way he can switch the play.
"But we've been working with him on the edge of the box - teaching him to get his head down and get over the ball, and he certainly did that today.
"We feel Steven is improving. It was a great goal and it put us further ahead in the game."
The victory over QPR ensured that Rovers climbed to 18th in the Premier League.
