Owen Coyle targets results in league and cup

Owen Coyle insists that Bolton remain eager to pick up results in both the league and cup.

Owen Coyle has said that his side are eager to maintain their FA Cup run in spite of their Premier League position.

The Bolton Wanderers boss, who reached the semi-final of the competition with the club last season, admits that his side "love" the FA Cup and plan to give it their all despite their league standing.

"We have shown as a club that we love the FA Cup," he said.

"As disappointing as the semi-final was [last season], we loved that run. We had some tough ties to get there and we have been given a few this season too.

"People will ask whether we would like results to come in the Premier League or the FA Cup but why can't they come in both?"

The Trotters are currently one point clear of the relegation places.
