Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has said that he wants his team to end their season by winning the Championship title.
The Cherries are on the verge of sealing promotion to the Premier League following a 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers that has left them three points clear of nearest challengers Middlesbrough and with a vastly superior goal difference.
They are now just one point behind league leaders Watford and know that if they achieve a better result than the Hornets on Saturday, then they will end the season as the champions.
"I am an eternal pessimist but it would take some blow up from this position not to make it," Howe told Sky Sports News. "We have one more game and we want to finish on a high.
"This club was heading nowhere, it was heading out of business and in such a short turnaround it is impressive. You don't achieve anything on your own. It has taken monumental effort from the players and coaching staff. Jason Tindall has been by my side all the way and it is a joint achievement.
"We would love to win the title. We will do our best to win the last game and see what happens."
Bournemouth are unbeaten in their previous 12 league fixtures.
