Harry Redknapp "looking forward" to Bournemouth return

Harry Redknapp says that his former club Bournemouth could be playing in the Premier League in the coming seasons.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp believes that his former club Bournemouth could be playing in the Premier League in the coming seasons.

The 67-year-old, who returns to the South Coast this weekend, began his managerial career with the Cherries in 1983.

"I'm looking forward to it," Redknapp is quoted as saying by the club's official website ahead of QPR's Championship clash against Eddie Howe's side. "I love the club and have a lot of time for it. Eddie Howe has done an amazing job and so have the people who run the club.

"The stadium is in great shape, they've built a training ground next to it and have a good youth policy. It's a club that in the next few years, if they can hang on to Eddie, could end up going into the Premier League I think.

"They are building a good infrastructure and I'm pleased to see them doing so well."

Bournemouth are currently 10th in the league table, while the Hoops go into today's game occupying third place.
