Douglas Costa has returned to training with Brazil ahead of their 2018 World Cup quarter-final with Belgium.

The Juventus winger has played just 45 minutes of this summer's competition due to a hamstring problem, and it had been thought that he would miss the remainder of the tournament.

The 27-year-old has been pictured back in training alongside his teammates, however, and could now feature when Brazil take on Belgium in the last eight on Friday night.

Costa, who has scored three times in 26 appearances for the Brazilian national team, completed a permanent move to Juventus from Bayern Munich last month.

Brazil, however, are still sweating over the fitness of Real Madrid full-back Marcelo, who has been struggling with a back problem in Russia.
