Brazil boss Tite has insisted that Neymar needs more time to find his top form at the World Cup, despite netting in his side's 2-0 win over Costa Rica on Friday.
Philippe Coutinho scored a stoppage-time goal to steal the three points for Brazil, before Neymar chipped in with his first goal of the tournament in the dying seconds of the game.
The Group E clash marked Neymar's fourth game since returning from his metatarsal injury at the end of last season, and Tite believes that the Paris Saint-Germain winger can still improve during Brazil's remaining fixtures.
"He is resuming a process," Tite told reporters after the game.
"He played the full match. He is a human being, he needs some time to resume his high standard. Before then there is a team that has to be strong and not depend on him."
Brazil, who are top of their World Cup group on four points, will play their final group-stage fixture against Serbia on Wednesday.
