Brighton & Hove Albion's Pascal Gross happy to be at Amex for next two games

Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Pascal Gross says that the team have an advantage in the next two games as they are playing at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Pascal Gross has claimed that playing the next two Premier League games at the Amex Stadium is "important" for the team.

Chris Hughton's side will take on Leicester City and Huddersfield Town on home turf, which has been kind to them recently given that they have won their last four matches at the stadium.

Gross believes that he has improved his individual game since the team's 2-0 defeat to Leicester City in August.

"The recent results we've had at home have been very good," Gross told the club's official website. "We're always happy to play at the Amex and it's important that the next two league matches are there.

"As a team, we're much better now. Personally, it was one of my worst games, but I just needed some time to adapt in the Premier League. I didn't need a long time, but I definitely need some time. I certainly feel like I've improved since we played them away.

"I'm quite happy with how the season has gone for me, but I can only do it when we're playing well as a team. Come the end of the season, I'll only be happy if we've stayed up."

Brighton are currently 12th in the Premier League table with eight games left to play.
