Eddie Howe's Burnley moved up to ninth in the Championship table with a 3-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers at Turf Moor this afternoon.
A penalty from Jay Rodriguez in the 39th minute allowed the home side to take a one-goal advantage into the break.
However, they had to wait until the 84th minute to make sure of the three points. Rodriguez was the provider on this occasion, crossing for Martin Paterson to head in.
Deep into stoppage time Burnley added their third of the match thanks to Rovers defender Sam Hird, who turned the ball into his own net.
