Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has reportedly identified Norwich City winger Yanic Wildschut as a possible signing during the January transfer window.
The Bluebirds have struggled for form in the Championship in recent weeks, with four successive defeats seeing the club drop into third place in the standings.
However, according to Wales Online, Warnock has already set about improving his squad and Wildschut could be brought in before the end of the month.
Norwich spent £7m to sign the Dutch wideman from Wigan Athletic at the start of 2017, but he has netted just two goals from 25 appearances for the Canaries in the second tier.
Wildschut has only made seven starts during the current campaign and with head coach Daniel Farke looking to reshape his squad, the 26-year-old could be allowed to leave Carrow Road for a cut-price fee.
