Ronny Deila has said that Celtic were "in control from start to finish" during their 3-0 Scottish Premiership victory over Dundee United this afternoon.
The match completed a four-game series between the clubs, with Celtic winning three matches and drawing one against their familiar opponent.
"It was one of those games where you feel totally in control from start to finish. We looked very solid and the first-half performance was good," Deila told the club's official website. "We didn't push as hard as we could in second half, but it's been a terrific week with some good results and now we have a very good situation with the matches coming up after the international break.
"We had good control of the game today and I wasn't surprised. It's important to see now what kind of effect three games in six days days has on teams. We do that all the time and it's very hard to do and you could see Dundee United were tired today.
"We had more energy and we could switch more in the squad as well but that's the difficulty of playing as many games as we are."
Following the victory, Celtic are five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
