Petr Cech says that Chelsea may have got lucky against Barcelona last week.

Petr Cech has admitted that Chelsea might have been lucky to beat Barcelona in last week's Champions League semi-final first leg.

The Czech goalkeeper believes that the Blues have put themselves in a good position to get to the final in Munich.

Didier Drogba's winner has left Roberto Di Matteo's men protecting a one-goal lead at the Nou Camp tonight.

"Maybe we were lucky last week, but we still played a good game in a very tactical contest," said Cech. "We've put ourselves in a very good position by winning that first leg. Now we have 90 minutes to get to the final.

"There have been moments this season when everything looked more complicated. Thankfully we got through that and now we want to carry on. But things happening in football quite fast; it can go from bad to great, and great to bad, in a split second.

"We've kind of split the season in two parts, where we weren't doing as well as we'd wished in the Premier League, but we've done well in the Champions League."

Cech moved to Stamford Bridge from French side Rennes in 2004.
