Spanish frontman Fernando Torres has reportedly been dropped by Roberto Di Matteo for this evening's Champions League encounter against Juventus in Turin.
Reports over the past 24 hours had claimed that Di Matteo had lost patience with Torres, who has struggled to score on a regular basis for the Blues since joining from Liverpool for £50m in January 2011.
However, instead of English centre-forward Daniel Sturridge taking his place, Belgian attacker Eden Hazard will lead the line, according to the Daily Mail.
Hazard, who joined Chelsea from Lille during the summer, has primarily been used as a winger so far this season.
A victory against the Italian champions would secure Chelsea's passage through to the last 16 of the competition.
