Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben says that he is looking forward to facing former club Chelsea in next season's European Super Cup.

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has said that he is looking forward to facing former club Chelsea in next season's European Super Cup.

The annual match between the winners of the Europa League and the Champions League will take place at the Eden Arena in Prague on August 30.

Robben claims that Blues duo Frank Lampard and John Terry contacted him on Saturday evening to offer their congratulations following Bayern's 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final at Wembley.

"We have more games coming - World Cup for clubs, the Super Cup against Chelsea - it's amazing," said Robben.

"I'm looking forward to it. I already saw on my mobile I already had text messages from JT and Lamps."

Robben spent three seasons at Stamford Bridge between 2004 and 2007, making 67 Premier League appearances.
