Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Premier League showdown with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chelsea will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they travel to Molineux to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday evening.

The Blues missed the chance to go top of the table as they lost 1-0 to Everton on Saturday, with Gylfi Sigurdsson scoring the decisive goal from the penalty spot after Edouard Mendy had fouled Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

However, with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool both failing to overcome Crystal Palace and Fulham respectively on Sunday, Frank Lampard's men are still within touching distance of the early pacesetters and currently sit three points adrift of top spot.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their showdown with Wolves.

Christian Pulisic

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 15 (vs. Wolves)

Christian Pulisic suffered another injury setback before the trip to Everton and the Blues were not willing to take any risks on the American's fitness. Lampard has expressed optimism over the winger's availability for Tuesday's encounter with Wolves, and Pulisic is in the squad for the game, but whether he starts or not remains to be seen.

Hakim Ziyech

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Arsenal)

Hakim Ziyech was forced off with a hamstring strain in the win over Leeds United earlier this month, but the former Ajax man has not suffered a severe injury and could be back in action on Boxing Day against Arsenal.

Callum Hudson-Odoi

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Arsenal)

Callum Hudson-Odoi's absence leaves Chelsea very short of options out wide, with the Englishman sustaining a hamstring injury during a recent training session. As is the case with Ziyech, it will likely be another couple of weeks before Hudson-Odoi can return to the fold.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Chelsea have no players suspended for Tuesday's game.
