Gary Cahill: 'Chelsea will be on front foot'

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill says that the team will play on the front foot against Manchester United.

Gary Cahill has insisted that Chelsea will be on the "front foot" when they host Manchester United this weekend.

The teams played to a goalless draw when they met in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford in December.

The defender told Sky Sports News: "We are two teams that don't want to give up points and that was shown in the game at Old Trafford, especially at that time of the season.

"A 0-0 for us away from home was an okay result in the end, but playing at Stamford Bridge we look to be on the front foot every time we play, so hopefully from a defensive point of view there's not going to be goals left, right and centre but it would be nice to be on the end of a winning result.

"For us it's all about trying to get the win, however we may do that."

Chelsea head into the weekend two points behind league leaders Arsenal.
