Chelsea to be fined for press conference no-show?

Chelsea could reportedly face further woe following their refusal to put up any staff members or players for interview after their defeat at Stoke City on Saturday.

Chelsea run the risk of being punished for a failure to speak to the media following Saturday's 1-0 defeat against Stoke City, according to a report.

Under Premier League rules teams are expected to put a staff member up for interview after a match, which the Blues failed to do so.

It is suggested by Sky Sports News that league officials will now write to Chelsea and ask for their observations, before delivering a verdict over whether the offence is worthy of a fine.

Should the top-flight strugglers be found guilty, it will further anger boss Jose Mourinho who has faced one stadium ban already this season and risks further punishment due to previous offences.
