Didier Drogba admits that his time spent in London has been the happiest of his life.

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has said that his time spent in London has been the happiest of his life.

Drogba, whose contract at the club expires at the end of the season, is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer. However, the forward has now suggested that he would like to remain at Chelsea.

"I love this club," he told The Graham Norton Show.

"Those last eight years have been the best in my career and in my entire life. I'm happy in London."

The Ivorian joined the Blues in 2004 from Marseille.
