Leicester's Christian Fuchs: 'I could have kissed Eden Hazard when he scored'

Leicester City left-back Christian Fuchs admits that he could have kissed Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard after his goal handed the Premier League title to the Foxes.

Leicester City left-back Christian Fuchs has admitted that he wanted to kiss Eden Hazard after he scored for Chelsea to hand the Premier League title to the Foxes.

It looked as though the title race between Leicester and Tottenham Hotspur was going to the penultimate weekend of the season when Spurs took a 2-0 lead at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

However, in the second half, Gary Cahill and Hazard scored to restrict Spurs to a 2-2 draw and knocked the North London club out of the chase.

Fuchs and the rest of his Leicester teammates celebrated the result at Jamie Vardy's house.

"It was an outstanding moment when the final whistle blew and, oh my god, it was insane!" Fuchs told talkSPORT. "We were watching it as a team at Jamie Vardy's house and I must admit I couldn't sit still, I didn't know whether to sit or stand! It was an exciting game and even with Tottenham 2-0 up I still believed something was possible.

"The goal from Hazard, he played great. I could kiss him after that goal!"

Leicester will lift the trophy after Saturday's match against Everton at the King Power Stadium.
