Chelsea's chief executive Ron Gourlay refuses to confirm whether or not Roberto Di Matteo will be appointed the permanent manager of Chelsea.

Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay has refused to discuss the future of interim manager Roberto Di Matteo.

The Italian, who took over from Andre Villas-Boas in March, will remain in charge of the Blues until the end of the season.

Many reports have tipped Di Matteo to be handed the job on permanent basis, particularly after guiding the club to the finals of the FA Cup and Champions League.

However, Gourlay has insisted that no decision has been made over who will become the club's new manager.

"I'm not going to change my mind on what I've said," said Gourlay. "We've just got to take - the cliched - one game at a time. That's honestly the way that we've treated things.

"We've got three games left, we'll see how we finish.

"Hopefully, we can take this forward now to Munich and make us all proud and then we'll take things from there."

Gourlay was speaking after seeing Chelsea defeat Liverpool 2-1 to win the FA Cup yesterday evening.
