Leicester City draw Chelsea in third round of EFL Cup

League champions Leicester City draw Chelsea at home in the third round of the EFL Cup.

Premier League champions Leicester City have been handed a home tie against Chelsea in the third round of the EFL Cup.

There are several other all-top-flight ties, with Southampton drawing Crystal Palace, Swansea City to face holders Manchester City and Stoke City hosting Hull City.

League One outfit Northampton Town will play host to Jose Mourinho's Manchester United, while Arsenal face a trip to Nottingham Forest of the Championship.

Accrington Stanley's reward for dumping out Burnley in the previous round is a trip to West Ham United's new London Stadium, with fellow Londoners Tottenham Hotspur hosting Gillingham.

Merseysiders Liverpool and Everton both face Championship opposition, the former travelling to Derby County and the latter hosting Norwich City.

The ties will be played during the week of September 19.
