Jose Mourinho happy with Fernando Torres form

Jose Mourinho says that he is pleased with Fernando Torres's recent form for Chelsea.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he is happy with the current form of striker Fernando Torres.

The Spaniard could be hit with a four-match ban following his dismissal during his side's 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

However, Mourinho believes that Torres has drastically improved his fitness and is pleased with his recent displays.

"On television I used to watch matches of Fernando at Chelsea and it looked to me that he was a bit heavy, a little slow," Mourinho told reporters.

"Now he looks in fantastic shape. And I think he played a very good game against Spurs. He knows that I am very happy with his performance."

Torres picked up two yellow cards for twice clashing with Jan Vertonghen.
