Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has wished Rafael Benitez luck after taking over as the manager of Chelsea.
Roberto Di Matteo was sacked as the Blues boss on Wednesday morning after their European defeat to Juventus the previous day, despite winning the FA Cup and Champions League earlier this year.
Former Liverpool chief Benitez was appointed as interim manager of the Londoners on Wednesday evening, and Mourinho says that he always wants his old club to do well.
"I like my old clubs to win," said Mourinho.
"I always wish the managers of my former clubs well so I always wish good luck to managers of my former clubs.
"I wish good luck to Benitez."
Mourinho managed Chelsea from 2004 to 2007.
