Everton captain Phil Neville has described Ashley Cole as the best left-back that England has ever produced ahead of the Chelsea defender's 100th appearance for the Three Lions.

Cole will achieve the feat this evening against Brazil at Wembley Stadium.

"100 caps for england is an amazing achievement the best left back this country as produced iMO well done @TheRealAC3," Neville wrote on the social networking site Twitter.

Neville himself featured 59 times for England, often in the same position as Cole plays in.
