Manchester City's Pablo Zabaleta has claimed that Carlos Tevez will return to the squad for the game against Chelsea next Wednesday.
The Argentine said that manager Roberto Manchini told the team that their former captain will be back in contention for the Premier League clash, The Sun reports.
"Roberto has told us that he will most likely give Carlos some minutes next Wednesday against Chelsea.
"In this team, Tevez was a key player for the last two years. The final phase of the season begins now and his contribution will be vital."
Zabaleta missed City's Europa League match against Sporting Lisbon with a hamstring injury, but hopes to be fit for the Chelsea game.
