AC Milan have reportedly cooled their interest in Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, with the Serie A club said to be having some concerns regarding the player's age.
The 27-year-old appeared to wave goodbye to the Stamford Bridge faithful during the Blues' 1-1 draw against Champions League-bound Newcastle United on the final day of the Premier League season.
The 10-time England international graduated from Cobham into the Chelsea senior team in 2014, and has since featured over 150 times for the West London club.
According to the Daily Mail, AC Milan are having doubts over a potential move for Loftus-Cheek due to the midfielder's age, despite 27 being widely considered as one of a footballer's prime years.
The report claims that the Rossoneri had a bid of £13m rejected by Chelsea for the player, with Mauricio Pochettino's men valuing Loftus-Cheek at £21m as they look to offload him.
It is believed that the Englishman's representatives are still in talks with both AC Milan and Chelsea over their client's future, with a departure from Stamford Bridge understood to be the most likely outcome at this stage.
