New Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez is reportedly keen on making Corinthians midfielder Paulinho his first signing at Stamford Bridge.
Benitez, who joined the European champions on Wednesday, is believed to be interested in bringing a defensive midfielder to the club.
However, his former employers Inter Milan are also tracking the 24-year-old Brazilian, according to talkSPORT.
The Spaniard takes charge of the Blues for the first time on Sunday when they host Premier League champions Manchester City.
