Chelsea have reportedly emerged as one of a number of Premier League clubs who hold an interest in Maritimo midfielder Josip Vukovic.
The Blues are currently facing a two-window transfer ban, but an appeal may lead to the West Londoners being able to bring in new players in the summer.
According to talkSPORT, Chelsea have begun to monitor the progress of Vukovic, who has started to make an impression in Portugal's top flight.
The defensive-minded Croatian has made 16 starts this season, and it has been suggested that the 26-year-old could be available for as little as £4m.
The report adds that Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also admirers of the player, who only penned a three-year deal with Maritimo last summer.
