Chelsea Ladies sign Liverpool winger Gemma Davison

Liverpool Ladies wingers Gemma Davison agrees a two-year contract with Chelsea Ladies.

Chelsea Ladies have announced the signing of Gemma Davison from Liverpool Ladies.

The 27-year-old was a part of the Liverpool side that pipped Chelsea to the FA Women's Super League 1 title on goal difference last season.

However, she has now agreed to link up with Emma Hayes's side, with the switch becoming official on January 1.

"It's unbelievable to join this club. It's a big club and the Ladies team have really improved and nearly won the league last season. There are some great players here and a great coaching staff that I'm looking forward to working with," she told the club's official website.

Former Arsenal player Davison, who has been capped by England at senior level twice, has signed a two-year contract with the West Londoners.
