Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are ready to battle it out for the signature of Gary Cahill in January.
Both sides will hope to sign the Bolton Wanderers defender for a cut price due to his contract ending at the end of the season, according to The Sun.
Chelsea are thought to be making the first move with a bid of around £7m.
Spurs have already failed with an attempt to capture the 25-year-old over the summer.
