Olivier Giroud 'willing to take pay cut for Inter Milan move'

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is happy to accept a pay cut to seal a move to Inter Milan, according to a report.

Chelsea's Olivier Giroud is reportedly ready to accept a wage cut in order to seal a move to Inter Milan this summer.

The 33-year-old has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for some time, and will see his current deal in the blue side of London expire in June.

The striker currently earns £135,000 per week at Frank Lampard's side, but according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Giroud is happy to see his salary slashed to £110,000-a-week at San Siro.

The report also claims that Inter are looking to bolster their attacking options in the near future, as speculation mounts regarding Barcelona's pursuit of Lautaro Martinez.

Since arriving from Arsenal in 2018, the France international has registered 21 goals in 76 appearances for the Blues, but has chalked up just two goals from nine Premier League outings this season.
