Alexis Sanchez is expected to represent Manchester United during the 2020-21 campaign, according to a report.

Alexis Sanchez is reportedly unlikely to leave Manchester United on a permanent deal this summer.

The 31-year-old joined Inter Milan on loan ahead of the 2019-20 campaign but has struggled to mark his mark at San Siro, scoring just one goal in 15 appearances for Antonio Conte's side.

As it stands, Sanchez will return to United this summer, and the Chile international still has more than two years left to run on his contract with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

The attacker has only scored five times in 45 appearances for the Red Devils since arriving from Arsenal in January 2018, and it has been claimed that United could attempt to sell him on a permanent deal this summer.

However, according to Sky Sports News, there are unlikely to be any takers for the South American due to the cost of the deal, meaning that Sanchez is expected to remain with his parent club for the 2020-21 campaign.

The forward managed 80 goals in 166 appearances for Arsenal before making the move to Old Trafford.
