Lille to sign Jose Bosingwa?

Former Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa emerges as a reported transfer target for Lille.

Former Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa could reportedly join French outfit Lille before the start of next season.

The 29-year-old departed Chelsea at the end of the season after the Blues decided against renewing his contract, and he is therefore available on a free.

Roma have also been credited with an interest, but according to Goal.com, Lille currently lead the race for the Portuguese defender.

Bosingwa appeared 24 times for his country before retiring in 2011.
