Chelsea defender David Luiz has admitted that he is flattered by speculation linking him with a summer move to Barcelona.

The 25-year-old Brazilian is believed to have attracted interest from Camp Nou, following a number of eye-catching displays for the Blues.

"I'm happy that a club such as Barcelona is interested in me," Luiz told The Sun. "They're a team of winners and their interest is a source of pride for me.

"I'm a Chelsea player for now. I work hard every day to make people appreciate what I do.

"I try to do my job in the best way possible, wherever I am."

Luiz, who joined Chelsea for a transfer fee of £23m in January 2011, is under contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2017.
