Chelsea are reportedly prepared to sell David Luiz to Barcelona for £30m due to Jose Mourinho's unwillingness to keep the defender.

Chelsea are reportedly poised to sell David Luiz to Barcelona at the request of potential new manager Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese coach is expected to complete his return to Stamford Bridge following his announcement that he will sign a contract this week.

While Blues owner Roman Abramovich is said to be fond of Luiz, Mourinho has informed the board that the Brazilian does not fit into his style of play and is prepared to sell the player to Barcelona for £30m, according to the Daily Star.

Meanwhile, Luiz, who can play in both defence and midfield, has refused to commit his future to the West London outfit.
