Romelu Lukaku has insisted that he wants to prove his worth at Chelsea under manager Jose Mourinho, despite rumours that he could be offloaded by the Premier League club.
The Belgium international, who will travel to Brazil for the World Cup this month, impressed during last season's loan stint at Everton.
However, Lukaku's long-term future remains unclear following reports that Chelsea have agreed to sign Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa.
"It would be nice to get clarity beforehand, but that will not happen, so I'm completely focused on the World Cup," Lukaku told Het Nieuwsblad.
"You know, I still have a two-year contract at the biggest club in England, because that's Chelsea. So I still hope to play there. Chelsea have a good coach."
Recent reports have claimed that Atletico could sign the 21-year-old should Chelsea's deal for Costa be completed.
